On January 12, 2026, a delegation from China Energy Engineering Corporation, Overseas Investment Company (CEECOIC) led by Ms. Yang Xiaomin, Deputy CEO, paid a courtesy call on the Managing Director of PPIB at its headquarters. The delegation also included Mr. Jiang Min, CEO SK Hydro, Mr. Danish Khan, Deputy CEO SK Hydro, Mr. Zhang Zhiwen, CCO SK Hydro, and Mr. Chen Yang, translator. Dr. Munawar Iqbal. DG(Hydro) PPIB was also present in the meeting. During the meeting, Ms. Xiaomin expressed her appreciation for PPIB’s support in successfully materializing the Suki Kinari Hydropower Project, noting that it represents a landmark achievement for her company and a testament to the strong cooperation between the parties. She discussed a couple of ongoing matters with for timely resolution. The MD introduced upcoming investment opportunities including AMI, 40 MW Power Project at Gwadar, and transmission line projects in PPP mode, inviting CEEC to participate. Ms. Xiaomin expressed keen interest in these projects and stated that she would brief her company accordingly.
