Thirty five (35) proposals have been received for the
above projects. The services of M/s Citigroup Consortium have been acquired as
advisors. The consortium consists of Citigroup (UK/Pakistan), Stone & Webster
Mgmt. Consultants (USA) and Haidermota & Co. (Pak.) & Linklaters (UK). The
consortium will be responsible for pre-qualification, transaction structuring,
drafting of agreements and evaluation of bids. This will enhance the credibility
and acceptability of the transactions to the investors.
