Born on December 26, 1950 in Sanghar,
Sindh, Raja Pervez Ashraf has been elected MNA as a Pakistan Peoples
Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) candidate. After completing his
graduation from University of Sindh in 1970, he went to the U.K. and
did diploma in Industrial Management from the Institution of Works
Managers London in 1974. He is an agriculturist by profession.
Married, with two sons and two
daughters, he has traveled Saudi Arabia, USA, UK, France, Germany,
Holland, Ireland, UAE, Switzerland, Greece, Chile, Argentina,
Hungary, China, Belgium and North Korea. Areas of Legislative

Raja Pervez Ashrf was Chairman
Social Action Board District Rawalpindi from 1994-96. He was elected
to the National Assembly in the year 2002 and was elected as the
Secretary General PPPP, a portfolio which he still holds. In 2008 he
was re-elected as Member National Assembly and has been assigned the
portfolio of Federal Minister for Water and Power. He also holds the
additional charge of Ministry of Tourism. |
